MEET YOUR PHYSICIAN

Jonathan R. Snyder,
MD, MPH

A physician for children, parents, and grandparents alike — practicing in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Dr. Jonathan Snyder is a board-certified Internist and Pediatrician who has spent his career caring for patients on Boston's North Shore. He completed his medical education at Tufts University School of Medicine and his combined residency training at the University of Maryland Hospital, and he holds certification from both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. That dual training shapes everything about how he practices: he is equally at home discussing a toddler's first fever, a parent's cardiovascular risk, and a grandparent's medication list.

He founded Generational Medicine because the most valuable thing a physician can offer — time — had become the hardest thing to find. With a panel deliberately kept to the low hundreds of patients, he can hold longer, unhurried visits, return calls himself, and think carefully between appointments rather than only during them. Care becomes proactive instead of reactive, and decisions are made with the whole person in view, not a single acute issue.

What he values most is continuity. Knowing a family over years — the histories, the worries, the way one person's health shapes another's — makes medicine both better and more humane. Dr. Snyder lives and practices in the community he serves, and he built this practice so that the relationship between a physician and a family has room to grow across every season of life.
